Lets Fill Our Society with a Lil' Bit of Manners

This morning I got a bit of annoyed by what an uncle had said behind me when me and my boyfie were having our brunch at a restaurant in Pavillion.

So it started when a pair of guy friends occupied the table behind me and I felt my chair is against the chair behind me because the guy must have shaking his leg or whatsoever. Therefore, I've pulled in my chair so both him and I can get a peace of mind when having our meal as I'm pretty sure he would felt the same when I moved. There comes his friend commenting me that I am 身娇肉贵, simply means I am too expensive to even touch or in a way saying that I am arrogant. I told my bf what I heard and he was quite pissed off by pulling the table towards him so that I can have more space. Here comes another swear word from behind. I was like, GOSH! Can't we just have our meal peacefully?! I decided not to say anything and also trying to calm my bf down as the guy who kept verbally abusing us apparently was trying to get into a fight with us but why do we have to be controlled by him? And remember how I have addressed him from my first sentence? An uncle! Yes, a guy who is at least 20 years older than me and well groomed could speak out something so uncivilized!

What I am trying to say here is, we are in a society which is getting more and more selfish. Many of us who are even very well educated also do not have a single bit of courtesy. Not only that, a lot of times we even have forgotten what is the basic manner that we have been learning since young.

Since we are talking about this, how many of you actually have experienced someone kept kicking on the back of your chair in movie theater? I had countless of times.....being kicked! There was only one time that I had turned over and asked the guy to stop kicking and that's it. The rest of the times I was sucking it up! But deep down, how I wish people can have a little bit more sense and courtesy? Put yourself into other people's shoes, how would you feel if the person behind you keep tapping on your chair? Annoyed or enjoyed?

After this incident, I sincerely do hope our society can be filled in slightly bit more of love, manners, and courtesy. Try not to just think only yourself but also others around you.

Fujiflim Instax 8

I've just came back from the company trip to Bangkok early this week and with 6500Baht (more or less equivalent to RM650, we got a good deal from an expat *wink*) I think I've bought 10 tops, 2 dresses, 2 pairs of earrings, a pair of Jelly Bunny, a pair of flats, a clutch and most importantly an Instax 8!!

Too bad that I've forgotten to take a snapshot on what I've bought as I was so friggin tired every night once I've reached back to the hotel. Anyway, today I'm not gonna blog about the trip as yet but the Instax 8.

I have been lusting over the Instax 7s ever since 2 years back during my birthday dinner when one of my girlfriends took that out and took pictures for everyone of us. It's not that I couldn't afford it but just something that I couldn't made up my mind. It's just like I won't die from not having one but on the other hand, I won't feel extremely pumped if I'm having one. Not until the Instax 8 came out with such adorable and eye-catching pastel colors. Once again, love at first sight happened. So this time I'm so decided to get it and I've found few online sellers selling them at RM300 with free postage and a box of instax films. I wanted to wait till I had came back from Bangkok then only go ahead. And yes, I'm a lucky girl to get to see this while I was shopping at Siam Square and walked pass a store full of colourful instax cameras!! I thought I was gonna die from all the sweetness and my colleagues keep persuading me to buy because they know I have been thinking of getting one very badly. One of the guys even helped me to bargain for a better price. The main reason why I bought it in Bangkok is because of the color. It's a dual color Instax 8 which I've never seen it anywhere else in Malaysia! I swear! Please tell me if you do... So I got the pink and yellow ones. Here are some of the pictures:

Different modes

As usual, before I invest on any significant purchase, I will normally do my homework by reading as many reviews as possible online. The key difference of this model compared to instax 7s is the Hi-Key mode and also it's much lighter. The function of the Hi-Key mode will come out with much brighter and more vibrant pictures. And this model only needs two AA size battery whereas the previous one needs four of those. Not only saving much more money but also be more eco-friendly.

Oh ya!! How much is this? It is around RM300 with a box of film. I personally think the price is very reasonable especially knowing that I will never be able to find this color in Malaysia. So why not???  Sometimes I do really feel that I'm a very smart consumer *shy* LOL!

If you don't have an Instax, I would say it's really worth to have one especially with such reasonable price. And because the photo is hardcopy and you can stick it on your office partition and look at the pictures everyday. Whereas, how many of us will really retrieve back the pictures we took on the camera or on our smart phone? At least I don't do that often. So come on! Be honest to yourself!

The Miu Miu Bow Satchel (Vitello Lux)

I have decided to share with all of you of my most significant purchase of the year as my first blog post. I have always wanting to share this sucker every since I've bought it since mid of August this year. However, due to all kind of works stuff and bla bla bla, here I am now to start talking about it.

Yes!!! It's my first branded bag - Miu Miu Bow Satchel which I've bought it for myself as a birthday gift!! I've came to notice this bag on a day when I was queuing behind a gal carrying this bag and at first I thought that was a design by Charles & Keith. And when she turned around, GOSH!! It's MIU MIU! Are your friggin kidding me?? This is how the love at first sight happened. Since that day, I have been on the internet reading all the reviews and how much is it and so on. There were lots of ladies out there (globally) criticizing this bag as it is not that durable and the finishing wasn't that well. I hesitated whether I should really get it. Man! If you are a lover of Miu Miu, you should know the price range.

On a very fine day, me and my mom were shopping at KLCC and we decided to go in and have a look. Once I touched the bag, OMG! I REALLY have to get it even I'm gonna be so poor after that. You know gals sometimes will just gone irrationally once they saw something they crazily liking it. However, unfortunately I did not get on that day due to an upcoming trip to Bali. I have decided to hold up my temptations. That's the hardest thing that I've ever gone through in my life.

So here comes August and this time I've brought the money with me and I'm so gonna bring this sucker back home with me today! Guess what? When I stepped into the store, here comes the newest size infront of me!! Ok, let me explain. Previously, there were only two sizings of this bow bag which are what ppl will call large bow and mini bow. To be honest, the large ones is really too big on me as I'm short; and the mini ones is too small for me to fit all my junks. So this medium size came at the super duper right timing!!

Ok! I'm done with all the mumbling! Let's see my pretty bow bag:
The dust bag:

As you can see from the pictures, the zipper part will keep sticking up when the leather is still new. However, once it's softened up then the shape will look more curvy. One thing about this bag that I really wanna highlight is the smell of the leather. I've read on so many comments about the different smell of this leather compare to other brands and I was like is it really that special. Believe it or not, it does smell really good and sometimes I will look like a stupid holding the bag and keep smelling, LOL! Right now, I've been using it almost everyday and with slightly extra care, my bow bag still look stunning as it is apart from the handle which has a little bit of dirt. I will also try to avoid carrying this bag out with me if I'm going out with jeans on as it will transfer color onto it.

I was browsing on the Miu Miu official web and noticed that this color isn't there anymore. So I'm not sure really whether you can still get this at the store. When I bought it, the SA told me that they only have two units at their store. So maybe you can try out your luck if you are interested in getting this. But please bear in mind that it will cause a huge friggin hole in your wallet, LOL!
