Too bad that I've forgotten to take a snapshot on what I've bought as I was so friggin tired every night once I've reached back to the hotel. Anyway, today I'm not gonna blog about the trip as yet but the Instax 8.
I have been lusting over the Instax 7s ever since 2 years back during my birthday dinner when one of my girlfriends took that out and took pictures for everyone of us. It's not that I couldn't afford it but just something that I couldn't made up my mind. It's just like I won't die from not having one but on the other hand, I won't feel extremely pumped if I'm having one. Not until the Instax 8 came out with such adorable and eye-catching pastel colors. Once again, love at first sight happened. So this time I'm so decided to get it and I've found few online sellers selling them at RM300 with free postage and a box of instax films. I wanted to wait till I had came back from Bangkok then only go ahead. And yes, I'm a lucky girl to get to see this while I was shopping at Siam Square and walked pass a store full of colourful instax cameras!! I thought I was gonna die from all the sweetness and my colleagues keep persuading me to buy because they know I have been thinking of getting one very badly. One of the guys even helped me to bargain for a better price. The main reason why I bought it in Bangkok is because of the color. It's a dual color Instax 8 which I've never seen it anywhere else in Malaysia! I swear! Please tell me if you do... So I got the pink and yellow ones. Here are some of the pictures:

As usual, before I invest on any significant purchase, I will normally do my homework by reading as many reviews as possible online. The key difference of this model compared to instax 7s is the Hi-Key mode and also it's much lighter. The function of the Hi-Key mode will come out with much brighter and more vibrant pictures. And this model only needs two AA size battery whereas the previous one needs four of those. Not only saving much more money but also be more eco-friendly.
Oh ya!! How much is this? It is around RM300 with a box of film. I personally think the price is very reasonable especially knowing that I will never be able to find this color in Malaysia. So why not??? Sometimes I do really feel that I'm a very smart consumer *shy* LOL!
If you don't have an Instax, I would say it's really worth to have one especially with such reasonable price. And because the photo is hardcopy and you can stick it on your office partition and look at the pictures everyday. Whereas, how many of us will really retrieve back the pictures we took on the camera or on our smart phone? At least I don't do that often. So come on! Be honest to yourself!
